This talk by Dr Gillian Lamb and Dr Sian Pooley examines how histories of childhood offer fresh perspectives on collections and properties now in the care of heritage organisations, including the National Trust.  It will explore a collaboration with the Trust on the history of residential war nurseries that were founded in country houses across Britain during WW2.
