Visit to Kenwood House, Hampstead

Kenwood House is a gem of a neoclassical villa, set in 112 acres of glorious, tranquil parkland with views over London. It was remodelled in the 18th century by Robert Adam, who added the famous library and the ionic portico entrance.  The house has been recently restored; it has an outstanding collection of paintings including 63 Old Masters.  At the time of our visit there will be an exhibition of paintings by John Singer Sargent.
